New Endeavors

With the end of soccer season we began to discuss what pursuits the princess would tackle for the winter. After some discussion we gave her the following options: 1) Upward Cheerleader, 2)Upward Basketball, 3)Swimming, or 4)take the winter off.

As I laid out these options I inwardly cringed knowing what her response was going to be. (Her best buddy was already signed up to cheer.) I knew she would never choose option 4 and I held out a slight hope that MAYBE she would return to swimming, but I also knew full well that we are raising a girlie girl...
