That's right, this was year 7 for the annual Father/Daughter Dance. This was the beginning of all the craziness 7 years ago! She was just as excited this year as that little girl in her pjs!
I seriously think it has become the most anticipated thing in our house every year. It starts every year with Doug having to stand in line to buy the much coveted tickets. Every year they sell 800 tickets and this year they sold 750+ in two hours! And then Aunt Sarah brings over her magic tackle box and the real fun begins. This was the first year that Aunt Sarah actually brought out all the big gun make-up instead of using the cheap stuff that the Princess plays with.

The past two years the Princess has been joined by her best buddy from school along with her father and that has made this an even better night. I love the smiles in this picture.
