We've done it! We made it to double digits. It's hard to believe that this little teeny tiny 6 lb. bundle has grown so much in such a short time.
Anybody remember the spikey hair that didn't lay down until she was 9 months old!
We had planned to do a big movie on the lawn for her birthday, but, weather, Easter, spring break, and work meant we had to push it off for almost a month. So, instead, this past week she had a little sleepover with some friends and then we had pizza with some of our family.
Our house was full of life until about midnight and then all went quiet!
She'd be happy to grow up and become a movie star!
This was the best gift giving of the season. Aunt Sarah (and Uncle Matt) gave her a pair of flats and a pair of boots, but she gave the princess a bag with one flat and one boot. She doesn't always do good with jokes and you could tell she was a little concerned that she was seriously supposed to wear one flat and one boot.
After she opened all her other gifts we gave her the bag with the missing shoes and this is the look of relief that she had when she figured out she actually got a PAIR of boots and a PAIR of flats!
The year's have moved quickly and I'm sure that the next few years will move even faster.
