We started AWANA at our church this year and both kids have been participating. This will be the princesses' only year to partake since she is headed to MIDDLE SCHOOL (I don't even like saying the words) next year. Today was the Grand Prix and this was a first for both of our kids. Little Man's race was first thing in the morning so he got to "help" drop the cars for the big kids races in the afternoon. The princesses' car in on the red track.
They are making this look like some pretty serious business!

The princess didn't break any speed records, but she did place 3rd for Design. She chose to make a flashlight because we worked on cars all afternoon at church one Saturday while we had no power at home. I think that flashlights and running water were on the tops of our kid's minds!
