City Swim Meet
We finished the pool season off about 2 weeks ago with the City Swim Meet. I'm sure there are thousands of city swim meets across the country in July, but we are pretty sure ours is one of the coolest. There are 23 teams that come to swim which means that for 3 days there is a tent city that takes over the special events center at the coliseum. Swimming starts at 7:00 in the morning and runs ALL day. Thankfully the pool is grounded so we don't even have to stop when the summer thunderstorms pass by.
