A Downpour

It only happens occasionally, but last night we got a downpour of SNOW!! It started around 6:00 and went all night leaving us with a good 8-9 inches of powdery heaven this morning! And it was an early morning. The princess decided to arise around 5:00 a.m. in order to peek at the snow. After that there was no more sleep!

The princess and I went out for a while this morning, but 25 degrees and sleeting is a little cold for the princess. The snow is very powdery (or puffy as we determined at dinner tonight) so it's not real good for sledding or making snow men, but it totally works for eating and making snow angels!

We did join some friends to attempt sledding this afternoon and the princess could have cared less that it wasn't the best sledding weather. She had a few good runs and I think liked riding best of all with her buddy Zachary.
