Buddies and School Buses

We had an impromptu sleepover this weekend at our house. It was not one of those where the princess planned and plotted all the cool things they would do or where she mulled over who was going to sleep where for hours the day of. There was no talk of the hours she would spend whispering after she was in bed. Instead it was one of those where a friend looked at my husband in a moment of desperation and said "Will you?" and he said yes. And that's how we had our first BOY sleepover!!

The poor guy managed the pink sheets and lack of any pajamas or toothbrush quite well and I did draw the line at line at using the mermaid pillow!! Remember the boy who said he didn't really like her? Well he is quickly becoming one of the princesses best buddies. BUT THEY DON'T LIKE EACH OTHER. We've cleared that up! But to have him in her house and even better IN HER ROOM for the night was a huge highlight in her week!!

The morning after involved lots of make believe as they took way too many bears to school on their makeshift school buses (Daddy's creepers!).
