Whirlwind Tour

The princess and her Dad left last Friday to attend his nephew's graduation. And in true Doug fashion they made lots of pit stops along the way and turned it into a 4 night 5 day whirlwind road trip. They managed to squeeze in a day in Amish country, a swing through DC, and a night with Doug's good buddy in VA.

On the road. She can't leave home with her trusted Maggie!

She got to take the official Amish buggy ride.

Seeing as how this is a constant state, Doug thought this sign was appropriate.

After the buggy tour they took the Mustang back and re-toured the Amish country.

Then it was a quick (literally 37 minute) stop in DC.

Taken in honor of the real Aunt Sarah, although no pancakes were consumed in this Richmond stop.

I think these were Doug's moments of silence when she would pop on the i-pod and stop the chatter.

Checking out the history in Yorktown, VA.

Slap worn out after 5 days just minutes from actually getting home!
