Early College Visit

The princess and her Daddy have headed to the mountains the past two years to enjoy the Ghost Train ride at Tweetsie railroad.  I think Doug decided to turn this year into an early college visit to plant the seeds of Appalachian pride.  From all the pictures he took it's hard to tell they spent time at Tweetsie at all.

The fall colors haven't hit their peak yet, but you can see the beautiful foliage from the top of Tweetsie Mountain.

The fastest way to this girl's heart is through her ice cream.  And, yes, she is eating with her coat zipped up to her chin!
It's Fall Break in the mountains so the stadium was wide open and empty.  She tested out her 40-yd dash time..11.1
 ...and her football sled skills.

It's hard to see, but she is posing down there on the 50 yard line.
I'll have to admit she does look at home.
This is a guide at Tweetsie that grew up at our church.  She looks just a little different!
