Play Dates
You know one of the things I really don't like about kindergarten (and I do have a list) is that it has ended our play dates. Everybody knows that play dates really are for Mom with the side bonus of kids getting some socializing time. I've only seen one of my friends since kindergarten started and that's only because we have a standing meeting time that had nothing to do with play dates. So, this week I bit the bullet and made a play date for a Saturday! How odd.
But, you know what? It was just as much fun and it was great to have some adult conversation sandwiched around the chaos of 4 kids trying to eat dinner.
