This week....

This week has been pretty full. Somehow we ended up with two days this week of friends coming over to play sandwiched around field trips and days at school. Our field trip was to the strawberry patch, but I didn't bother to take my camera so no cute photos from that time. However, there were a few fun things that I managed to get photos of. First we decided that the time had come to remove training wheels and start learning to ride the bike. The princess basically thinks this means she gets a free ride now. Her legs stop pedaling when we hold on so right now we are working on pedaling fast enough to maintain her balance.



Another new thing in our house is this chair. Anybody recognize it?



Yep, it's the old chair from my grandmother's house. It is 25 years old and we are now its proud owners. Grandmother is using our glider instead because this chair was getting to hard for her to use. (Insert a sigh here) She turned it over with the original receipt!! It was bought from a furniture store that no longer even exist! (Another small sigh) The princess calls it the "special chair" and this is what we do in it....



Today we went and watched Aunt Sarah with her belly dancing troupe. (I'm not sure they are really called a troupe, but it sounds good.) I have a video of the princess and the magnificent Aunt Sarah but that will have to wait until my tech savvy husbands gets home from his tech savvy job. But there are some pics.
